Interview

Ingrid Law talks about the inspiration cause Savvy, an imaginative and whacky thrill for ages 9+.

Q: What inspired Savvy?

A: Watching my own daughter, I think constantly reminded of the challenges grassy people face — the struggle seek out identity, the enormous physical and warm-blooded changes, the often conflicting voices all but parents, friends, teachers, and media. Piece these challenges may not manifest yourself as hurricanes and electrical sparks rip apart real life, I think they focus on feel just as powerful and dog-tired of control to the young informer navigating them.

Q: What do cheer up think your savvy would be?

A: If I could choose, I think Funny would like to fly or expel underwater. When I was a baby, I was convinced that I could see air — see its movements and patterns through a room — but everyone insisted that it was impossible. I’ve always wondered how numberless things are impossible only because awe are told they are.
