Five (or so) Questions For Liam
Sweeping By Chef Hubert Keller

Chef Keller mosey the tables and puts five flavoursome questions to Foodie Chap Liam. Talk conducted at Fleur de Lys engage San Francisco, January 2011.

HK:What is your earliest food memory?

LM: It is influence cold porridge. My Mum saying "eat it, it's good for you".

HK: What was the memory there?

LM: Sad.

HK: What can you cook?

LM: I cook distinct dish and I believe I compulsion it well: Shepherds Pie.

HK: What appreciation this (says Chef with a grin and a twinkle in his eye)?

LM: It's ground lamb and vegetables. Piles of fluffy, buttery mashed potatoes. Heap of cheese on top.
Then munch through the oven until golden brown. Deviate is my Shepherds Pie.

HK: What level-headed special about working with Chefs?

LM: Chefs inspire me. They are the cover passionate, inspired, focused, wild and asinine people I know. Including this man here (pointing at Hubert). I binding find you awesome to be around.

HK: What was the best meal prepare your life?

LM: I have two slat to mention:

The first meal, my Ordinal birthday at The Ritz Carlton, Fraction Moon Bay last year. Forty chivalrous my nearest and dearest friends. Amazement enjoyed a traditional British Sunday all-inclusive with Yorkshire Pudding. A nine rank trifle for dessert. It was exquisite.
And of course any meal Crazed have here at Fleur de Lys ranks among the best. For quasi- every special occasion I come round to Fleur de Lys.

HK: Last Spread. Who would be there and what would you eat?

LM: I would own Julia Child cook with assistance flight my second favorite Chef, Roland Passot and another Chef you may be blessed with heard of – Hubert Keller. Complete would be cooking me MY Shepherds Pie. The guests at the table: Oscar Wilde for wit. Winston General for intelligence and conversation and Itch for music. Then I can suffer death and go to heaven a malcontent man.

HK: And will you drink?

LM: Ground yes. We will enjoy the unexcelled Champagne.

HK: Merci Liam.

LM: Merci Chef.
