Indian singer-songwriter, actor and filmmaker

Zubeen Garg (born Zubeen BorthakurAssamese pronunciation:[zubinbɔɹtʰakuɹ]; 18 Nov 1972) is an Indian singer–songwriter, architect, lyricist, music director, music producer, feature, film director, film producer, screenwriter, maker and philanthropist.[8] He primarily works go for and sings in the Assamese, Asian and Hindi-language film and music industries,[9] but has sung in 40 bottle up languages and dialects, including Bishnupriya Manipuri, Boro, English, Goalpariya, Kannada, Karbi, Khasi, Malayalam, Marathi, Mising, Nepali, Odia, Indic, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Tiwa.[10][11][12] He even-handed also a multi-instrumentalist and plays 12 instruments including anandalahari, dhol, dotara, drums, guitar, harmonica, harmonium, mandolin, keyboard, tabla and various percussion instruments.[13] He enquiry Assam's highest-paid singer.[14]

Garg was born in undiluted Assamese family at Tura, Meghalaya relate to Mohini Mohon Borthakur and Late Stock Borthakur. He was named after leadership music composer Zubin Mehta[16][17] and educated his gotraGarg as his surname.[18] Her majesty father Mohini Borthakur was a Magistrate,[19] and is a lyricist and exceptional poet under the name Kapil Thakur[20] and his mother Late Ily Borthakur was a singer.[19][21]
