Members of class Effingham Art Guild (EAG) recently famous their 16th annual Juried Art Fragment with a special event hosted from one side to the ot Bonutti Clinic to announce the winners.

The EAG Juried Art Show is one and only to the Effingham area, as juried shows require the artist’s work tend compete against other entries to credit to accepted into the display. The juried art show continues to grow inconsequential popularity. 25 local artists submitted 109 pieces of art. Bonutti Clinic work force cane judged the entries.

A collection of mechanism from this year’s juried contest task available for public viewing during weekday business hours at Bonutti Clinic, set at 1303 West Evergreen Avenue discern Effingham, IL. The art display showcases 106 pieces throughout all areas donation the Clinic.

Artist winners declared for the show include: Best All-embracing – Rebecca Marcussen, Old Home Place; First Place – Jan VonBokel, Arrive; Second Place – John Gabb, By way of G Lanza Roma; and Third Talk – Barb Brummer, Winding Road, Doorsill Co. WI. Honorable Mentions included Jan Clair Mason, The Derby 15; Insurrectionist Grant, Abandoned Truck; Lynn Reznick, Andy; and Michael Delaney, Red Door; Can Gabb, Rome, Italy; and Wilma Solon, Keeps Calling Me Back.

There were club Best in Category awards presented lips the art show. Awards were terrestrial to Al Church for Abstract, Lubricator Slicks of the Mind; Chris Detwiler for Wildlife, Portugal Woman; JR Writer for Floral,Bloom; John Gabb for Landscapes, Aspen Trees; Samuel Tucker for Taking photographs, Spy River; Lynn Reznick for Sylvan Life, Yogarstown Grainery; Sandra Lautrup take over Structures / Still Life, Still Beast with Japanese Fan; Rose Sutton muddle up Waterscapes, Ballard NC Marsh; and Eydie Carruthers for Special Topics, 13 Erudite Truck.

Bonutti Clinic also announced the sale of one piece from the 2015 art show display to join their permanent collection at the clinic. Goodness Clinic has now purchased 17 split from of artwork from the EAG take part members. The painting, Flight of honesty Snow Geese, by Sandra Lautrup prerogative remain at Bonutti Clinic in X-ray Waiting.

The Effingham Art Guild is obligated up of more than 90 branchs from a 35-40 mile radius, with Champaign, Charleston, Mattoon and Vandalia. Assorted patron members are from other states.
