Not a stage name, summon seems, but one presumably given birth honour of the titular femme fatale 'Zuleika Dobson' of Sir Max Beerbohm's satire on the absurdities of Town undergraduates. With her winsome Victorian doll-like looks, she excelled in roles call in children's classics such as the BBC's production of 'The Lion, the Warlock and the Wardrobe', 'Heidi', 'Anne of Immature Gables' and its sequel 'Anne of Avonlea'.

The trail goes cold after 's enjoyable 'Young Sherlock' series from Granada TV, so sizeable information on her career after that would be very welcome. I longing she didn't leave the acting occupation entirely. But in any case, sue for now, here's our small salute.
